Lady Wildcats Get Three Big Wins on the Road

The Tucker Valley Girls’ Basketball team played a Varsity only contest at Kasson Thursday Jan 9th. The Lady Wildcats took an 18-6 lead into halftime and extended through the second half to pick up the 38-16 win.

Sydney Nestor led Tucker Valley in scoring with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Sydney Moore and Carleigh Bolyard added 6 points and Dominique Meadows had 9 rebounds in the win.

The Lady Wildcats traveled to Tygarts Valley on Jan 13th for two games. The JV team started the evening with a 32-12 win. Riley Evans led Tucker Valley with 11 points and Megan Jones added 6 points. Kelcee James added 10 rebounds and 6 steals for the Lady Wildcats. In the varsity contest Tucker Valley exploded to a 23-5 halftime lead and never looked back winning the contest 39-9. Sydney Nestor led the Lady Wildcats with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 steals. Sydney Moore added 9 points, 7 rebounds, 8 steals and Dominique Meadows pulled down a team high 8 rebounds.
