The Lady Wildcats softball team traveled to Petersburg last week for a matchup against the Lady Vikings of Petersburg Middle School. Tucker got on the board first when Ary Neville drew a walk, and one batter later, Jacey Helmick hammered a triple, scoring Neville from first and giving Tucker a 1–0 advantage.

The score remained unchanged through the next two innings before Petersburg took control of the game, scoring five runs across the third and fourth innings to secure a 10–1 victory.

The game was Tucker’s only matchup of the week. They will return to the diamond on Wednesday, April 8, for a home game against Bruceton Middle at 6 p.m.
