LIONS CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS RUN AT LINCOLN MEET

SHINNSTON – The Tucker County Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country teams traveled to Shinnston near Lincoln High School to compete in the Junior Nuzum Memorial Run on Thursday September 29th.

 

In the Girls’ race the Lady Mt. Lions finished in 2nd place as a team.  Lady Mt. Lions Results: 4th-Katie Hicks(21:51.63), 5th-Erin Chambers(22:29.53), 8th-Addi Moats(22:51.03), 13th-Hannah Hardy(24:52.34) and 16th-Brianna Gooden(27:17.62).  Girls’ Teams final placement: 1st-Liberty Harrison, 2nd-Tucker County, 3rd-Robert C Byrd and 4th-Lincoln.

 

The Boys’ race went next and the Tucker County Boys’ placed 3rd overall in the event.  Tucker County Boys’ Results: 9th-Cameron Judy(20:16.50), 10th-Alex Boyles(20.31.25), 13th-Nate Ricottilli(20:39.83), 20th-Allan Boyles(21:29.20) and 21st-Lynk Suesli(21:29.45).  Boys’ Teams final placement: 1st-Lewis County, 2nd-South Harrison, 3rd-Tucker County, 4th-Liberty Harrison, 5th-Lincoln and 6th-Robert C Byrd.

 

The Tucker County Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country teams will return to action at home on Saturday October 8th for the Tucker County Invitational at Camp Kidd at 9am.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
