FRANKLIN – Tucker County traveled to Pendleton County on Thursday April 17th and fell to the Wildcats 15-5. The Mt. Lions played well to begin the game as Tucker County scored 4 runs in the first inning. Pendleton County came right back to take a 5-4 lead going into the 3rd inning. Jake Pifer then hit the first Tucker County home run of the season with a solo shot to start the 3rd inning to tie the score 5-5. Then the talented Pendleton County team came to life in the 4th and 5th innings to pull away from the visiting Mt. Lions to get the victory 15-5.

Zac Haddox took the loss on the mound for the Mt. Lions.

Tucker County(2-5) was scheduled to travel to Union on Monday April 21st and then host Moorefield for a double header on Tuesday April 22nd. The Mt. Lions will then host East Hardy on Thursday April 24th for a double header starting at 4:30pm. Tucker County will finish out the week with a single game on Friday at home against Keyser at 1pm.
