The Tucker County Mt. Lions Golf Team wrapped up its regular season this past week with matches on Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday’s match was at home at Canaan Valley with five other schools competing in the match. This match was senior night for lone senior golfer, Braden Grey. Grey is a second-year member of the team and has been a consistent finisher throughout the season. Tucker would not win the match, however, golfer, Nate Davis, would finish as sixth overall individually. On Thursday, Tucker traveled to Petersburg’s home course at Valleyview Golf Club. Tucker would take home third place as a team and sophomore, Andrew Simmons, would shoot a team low score of 42 placing him seventh overall individually. Tucker will participate in the PVC Tournament this week at Canaan Valley Golf Course. Next Monday, they will begin regional play, also at Canaan Valley.
