Track Continues Strong Start Under New Coaching Staff

The TCHS Track and Field team continues to have a successful start to their season. Under first-year head coaches, who just a few years ago dawned the black and gold themselves. Haden Wamsley and Wesley Strawderman; Haden is a Junior at Davis and Elkins College studying Special Education and Wesley is also a Junior at Davis and Elkins College studying Math Education.

These two young men have the track team off to a successful start. This past week Tucker completed at Elkins High School on April 11th, bringing home two gold medals, seven silver medals, and four bronze medals. The team will be back in action on Thursday April 17th at Keyser High School.

Nate Ricottilli- 2nd in 400m dash; Reid Kisamore- 3rd in Long jump; Cameron Judy- 2nd in 3200m run; Reid Kisamore, Oliver Archuleta, Luke Barb, and Nate Ricottilli-2nd in 4x100m relay, 2nd in 4x200m relay; Lela Wright-2nd in 100m dash, 3rd in 200m dash; Addi Moats-3rd in 400m dash; Estoria Chase- 3rd in 1600m run, 1st in 3200m run; Mayah Gross- 2nd in 300m Hurdles; Raven Mathews- 2nd in Shot put; Addi Moats, Lela Wright, Estoria Chase, and Mayah Gross- 1st in 4x400m relay
