TUCKER COUNTY BOYS’ CRUISE IN ROAD WIN AT EAST HARDY 73-42

BAKER – The Mt. Lion Boys’ Basketball team traveled to East Hardy on Wednesday January 26th.  Tucker County built an early 9 point lead and never looked back as they picked up the road PVC Conference win over East Hardy 73-42.

The Mt. Lions started the game fast as they led after one quarter 18-9.  Tucker County edged the Cougars in scoring in the second quarter 18-14 to make the halftime score 36-23 Mt. Lions.

The third quarter was controlled by Tucker County as they outpaced East Hardy 19-5 to extend the Mt. Lions lead to 55-28 after three quarters of play.  Tucker County won the fourth quarter 18-14 to take the road win over East Hardy by the final score of 73-42.

Ethan Rosenau led Tucker County with 13 points and Maddox Anderson followed with 12 points.  Ashton Lycliter added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Mt. Lions in the road win.  The Tucker County JV team also picked up the win 49-37.

 

Tucker County (11-2) will return to action tonight Wednesday February 2nd at Gilmer County with the JV game starting at 5:45pm.  The Mt. Lions will then travel to Petersburg on Friday February 4th.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
