Citizens Bank capped off its season in impressive fashion by winning the Elkins Babe Ruth “Fuzz Jones City Tournament”, with a strong group of Tucker County players playing a major role in the championship run.
Five members of the championship team, Zane Carr, Quinton Teter, Wade Boyles, Braylon Simmons and Sawyer Supak, are from Tucker County. The team is also coached by Tucker County resident Dylan Warren, making the title a proud accomplishment for the neighboring community.
Throughout the tournament, Citizens Bank played solid baseball on both sides of the ball. The Tucker County players made valuable contributions all season long, helping the team come together when it mattered most.
For Carr, Teter, Boyles, Simmons and Supak, the tournament title is a memorable way to close out the Babe Ruth season. Along with Coach Warren, they represented Tucker County well and helped bring home the Babe Ruth End-of-Season Tournament championship.
