TUCKER COUNTY SENIOR GIRLS COMPETE IN ALL-STAR GAME

FROSTBURG, MD – The Lions Club All-Star Classic was played on Sunday April 15th at Frostburg State University.


The game features Senior All-Stars from the West Virginia Eastern Panhandle against Western Maryland Senior All-Stars. Tucker County Girls’ Basketball Players Sydney Nestor, Sydney Moore and Cecily Strawderman competed in the game. Sydney Moore connected with a jumper with 7 seconds left in the contest to give the WV All-Stars the 50-48 win. Sydney Nestor scored 15 points, Sydney Moore netted 13 points and Cecily Strawderman added 4 points. Sydney Nestor and Sydney Moore were named Co-MVP’s for the WV team.
