TUCKER COUNTY VOLLEYBALL OPENS SEASON AT KEYSER

KEYSER – The Tucker County Girls’ Volleyball team started their season at Keyser on Tuesday September 8th.  In JV match Keyser won 2 out of 3 sets (6-25), (25-21) and (11-25) to capture the contest.  Keyser took the Varsity match in straight sets (7-25), (14-25) and (9-25).

SHORT GAP – The Lady Mt. Lions traveled to Frankfort on Saturday September 12th for a Varsity only Tri-Match with Frankfort and Pendleton County.  In the first match Tucker County fell in straight sets to Pendleton County (8-25), (14-25).  In the second match the Lady Mt. Lions dropped the match to Frankfort (11-25), (8-25).

Tucker County will return to action on Thursday September 17th for a Tri-Match at Union which will also include Moorefield at 6pm.  The Lady Mt. Lions will then travel to Tygarts Valley for a single match on Tuesday September 22nd.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
