TUCKER VALLEY BOYS’ FINISH SEASON UNDEFEATED

HAMBLETON – The Tucker Valley Boys’ Basketball team hosted East Hardy for a JV and Varsity contest on Thursday February 10th.  I the JV game the Wildcats JV team fell to East Hardy JV 44-31.  Ty Ricottilli led the Tucker Valley JV with 12 points and Luke Barb added 10 points for the Wildcats JV in the loss.  In the Varsity game Tucker Valley picked up the win by the final score 51-39.  Nate Ricottilli led the Wildcats with 13 points and Luke Barb added 10 points for Tucker Valley in the victory.

 

CAPON BRIDGE – The Wildcats Boys’ Basketball team traveled to Capon Bridge on Friday February 11th for 2 games.

In the first game the Tucker Valley JV team fell in the contest 41-22.  The Tucker Valley JV were led in scoring by Luke Barb with 15 points and Ethan Cummings added 5 points for the Wildcats JV in the loss.  In the Varsity game Tucker Valley trailed starting the fourth quarter, but they outscored Capon Bridge16-7 in the final quarter to come back for a 38-33 victory.  Mikey Mitchell poured in 23 points for the Wildcats and Xander Lambert added 10 points for Tucker Valley in the win.  The win for the Varsity allowed them to end the regular season undefeated at 17-0.

 

The Tucker Valley JV and Varsity teams will begin PVL Conference Playoff play this week.  The Varsity will host Romney on Thursday February 17th.  The Wildcats JV team will travel to Davis-Thomas on Friday February 18th for a first round PVL playoff game that will get started at 5:45pm.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
