TUCKER VALLEY GIRLS’ BASKETBALL GET FIRST ROUND PLAYOFF WIN

HAMBLETON – The Lady Wildcats played host to Davis-Thomas at TCHS Gym on Tuesday February 8th.  In the contest Tucker Valley pulled away for the 28-22 victory over the Lady Bears.  Makenna Evans led Tucker Valley with 20 points and Maddy Helmick added 6 points for the Lady Wildcats in the win.

 

HAMBLETON – The Tucker Valley Girls’ Varsity Basketball team hosted Pendleton County for a PVL First Round Playoff game on Thursday February 10th.  In the game Tucker Valley built an 18-10 lead at the half and maintained that advantage as they took the contest by the final score of 35-26.  Makenna Evans led Tucker Valley in scoring with 16 points and Maddy Helmick finished with 10 points for the Lady Wildcats in the win.

 

Tucker Valley will now travel to Petersburg tonight Wednesday February 16th for a Semi-Final game against Capon Bridge.  The winner of that game will play for the PVL Championship on Thursday February 17th against the Petersburg / Romney winner.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
