Tucker Valley Boys’ & Girls’ Basketball Update

The Wildcat Boys’ Basketball teams hosted Tygarts Valley on January 10th.

In the JV contest the young Wildcats fell in the contest 47-26. Dominick Mullenax led Tucker Valley with 11 points, 5 rebounds and Brandon Knotts added 6 points. In the Varsity game Tucker Valley fell to the Bulldogs in a tight game 40-35. Wyatt Betler and Tate Mullenax led the Wildcats with 10 points each and Gus Mullennex added 4 points, 8 rebounds.
On January 12th the Tucker Valley Boys’ hosted Elkins for 2 games. In the Varsity game Elkins picked up the close win 37-32. Tucker Valley was led in scoring by Wyatt Betler with 9 points, 6 rebounds and Tate Mullenax chipped in 6 points and Gus Mullennex added 5 points, 10 rebounds.
In the first game of the night the Tucker Valley JV team picked up the win 29-28. Haden Wamsley led the Wildcats with 8 points. Trent Eure and Brandon Knotts added 6 points each for Tucker Valley in the win.
The Lady Wildcats traveled to Tygarts Valley on January 10th. In the JV contest the Tucker Valley team fell 31-29. Jayden Kuhn led the Lady Wildcats with 15 points. Jacey Davis and Shaleigh Darlington added 4 points each in the loss for Tucker Valley.
In the Varsity game the Lady Wildcats picked up the win in a close game 30-29. Jordan Surguy led Tucker Valley with 16 points and London Hood added 10 points for the Lady Wildcats in the road win.
On January 12th the Tucker Valley Girls’ traveled to Elkins for 2 games. In the first contest the Tucker Valley JV team took the win 22-16. Jayden Kuhn led Tucker Valley with 8 points and Jacey Davis chipped in 5 points in the win.
In the last game of the night the Tucker Valley Girls’ took the victory 34-15. London Hood led Tucker Valley with 15 points, while Jordan Surguy and Karlee Smith added 5 points each in the win. For more info or complete schedules go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
