Tucker Valley Girls’ Basketball Update

ELKINS – The Tucker Valley Girls’ Basketball team traveled to Elkins on Monday January 13th. In the first game the Tucker Valley JV team got the win by the score of 23-15. Mckenna Evans led Tucker Valley JV with 8 points and Regan Herron added 7 points for the Lady Wildcats JV in the win. In the Varsity contest Tucker Valley came up short in a close contest by the score of 29-27. Macy Helmick led Tucker Valley with 11 points and Brylee Wetzel was close behind with 10 points in the Lady Wildcats loss.

MOOREFIELD – The Lady Wildcats traveled to Moorefield on Thursday January 16th. In the JV contest Tucker Valley came up short as they lost the game 19-15. Maddy Helmick led the Tucker Valley JV with 6 points and Olivia Triplett added 5 points for the Lady Wildcats JV team in the loss. In the last game the Tucker Valley varsity team got the win over Moorefield by the final score of 43-36. Macy Helmick led Tucker Valley with 22 points and Brylee Wetzel added 10 points for the Lady Wildcats in the road win.
