The Tucker County Senior Citizens held their monthly Outpost at the Parsons Center on January 7, 2020. Linda Bonner welcomed everyone. Everyone recited the Lord’s Prayer and gave the Pledge of Allegiance.

We did not have any January birthday people in attendance.

Linda introduced Savannah Wilkins who is a candidate for Prosecuting Attorney in Tucker County. She gave a brief talk just to introduce herself and answer any questions people may have. She is from Davis but is currently working in Preston County.

Linda had a few announcements including one to be aware that Census forms will be arriving in the mail around mid-March. It is very important that people fill these out. We will be having someone from the Census Bureau here in Parsons on Thursday, April 2, 2020 to help people fill out the forms and answer their concerns.

The group then watched a funny video of Ken Groves, a ventriloquist, who has traveled around the world performing for all kinds of groups.

A blessing on the food was given by Ken Knotts before we enjoyed a great meal.
Door prizes were won by: Ruth Worley, Sue Carroll, and Rita Roberts.
