Tucker Valley boys middle school basketball update

The Tucker Valley Boys’ Basketball JV and Varsity teams hosted Tygarts Valley on January 4th. In the JV game Tucker Valley fell in the contest 34-26. Wyatt Betler led Tucker Valley in scoring. The Wildcats varsity fell in the second game 35-20. Cameron Mullenax led Tucker Valley with 6 points.

On January 11th Tucker Valley traveled to Moorefield for 2 games. In the JV game Moorefield picked up the win 43-24. Zach Long and Bryson Harper led Tucker Valley with 6 points each. Moorefield got the win in the varsity game also by the final score of 50-34. Will White led the Wildcats with 11 points in the loss.

The Wildcats hosted Buckhannon-Upshur for 2 games on January 13th. Tucker Valley fell in the first contest 51-37. Trey Key led the Wildcats with 13 points. Tucker Valley fell in the varsity contest 62-49. Rudy Pennington led the Wildcats in scoring with 14 points.

Tucker Valley will be back in action on January 21st as they host Kasson.
