Janet Roberta Cross Bohon, 76, a resident of Holly Meadows, Parsons, passed from this life on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Garrett Memorial Hospital in Oakland, Maryland.
Janet was born Wednesday, January 16, 1946, in Parsons, a daughter of the late Robert John Cross and Sylvia Arizona Hershman Cross.
Left to cherish Janet’s memory are two children, Stacy Wade Bohon and wife, Donna, of St, George and Connie Louise Nestor and husband, Larry of Hendricks, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a sister, Juanita Roy.
Preceding Janet in death besides her parents was a special friend, Jerry Pifer, a sister, Nettie Bright Lipscomb, and a brother, Leslie Pete Nestor.
Janet attended the schools of Tucker County. She was employed at the Parsons Footwear, Parsons Nursery Bottom and the Family Dollar. Janet was an avid gardener who enjoyed painting, drawing, and photography. She attended the Sycamore Grove Church. She loved her family and friends very much and will be sadly missed.
Janet’s request for cremation will be honored and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
