Roland “Frenchie” Gravelle

Roland “Frenchie” Gravelle, 77, passed away at his home April 8, 2018. Death was due to cancer.


Roland is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra, two sons, David (Sandy) Gravelle and Tobie (Samantha) Gravelle, all of Davis, WV, one daughter, Lisette (David) Popish, Harpers Ferry, WV, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers, Marc (Bonnie) Gravelle, Thomas, WV, Bernard Gravelle, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Phyllis Gravelle who resided in Burlington, VT, one brother, Francis, Davis, WV, two sons, Shane and Joey of Davis, WV, one grandson, Brian Hagedorn.

Frenchie enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He was a veteran who served in the Navy. He worked at the Tucker County Landfill.

Friends were received at Hinkle Funeral Home, Tuesday, April 10, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held, 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 11 at Hinkle Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Buena Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
